a Fresh Original Fusion of Jazz/Pop/Folk

Singer/songwriter/guitarist/pianist has been busy since her last New Hampshire concert in May of 2009. After having released her 3rd nationally heralded CD Interior Design, Lavender headed out to Paris, France to promote her music and play at the quintessential parisian “Jazz Cave,” The Jazzcartoon, as well as making several appearances in Lugano, Switzerland. This fall she released her very first music video, All Alone Here With You. Lavender will be making her debut on May 25th at Boston’s premier Jazz venue, Sculler’s Jazz Club and is being featured in JAZZIZ magazine’s internationally distributed Spring Jazz On Disc. Blending a fresh and sophisticated synthesis of jazz, new age, folk and world elements, Lavender’s songs will captivate your imagination and her smooth voice will please your ears as she takes you on her musical journey. Her Boston-based quintet features Natalie Dietrich/Vibes, Matt Clauhs/Flute and Sax, Alex Goumas/Bass and Rodgrigo Bonelli/ Drums and Percussion.

  and
The Scott deOgburn Trio
Pianist Scott deOgburn is a Berklee College of Music professor, who has performed with legends such as Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, and the Aretha Franklin. "The World Around Us" an International Artist's Exhibit
5 international artists whose work will be featured at the March 14th event. This collaborative art show was recently featured at the Logan International Airport. Yong Chen, from China, has an incredible sense of style and childlike wonder for the world around him. Nita Leger Casey is from France, and a graduate of L’Ecole des Beaux Arts. She moved to New England to paint the Victorian homes that are so plentiful on the East coast. Marilene Sawaf, who hails from Lebanon, paints incredibly intricate oil paintings is the recipient of the Ezechiel Award and the Georgeopoulos Award from the Currier Museum of Art’s juried exhibits of 2006 and again in 2008. Albine Vermot-Gaud, from France and Italy Neither a realist nor an impressionist, but always experimenting with different styles and media, her landscapes are evocations of familiar where she lets imagination, shapes, and colors be her guides. Mary Buergin represents the uniquely American landscapes she so loves to paint. Her oils and pastels capture the light and atmosphere of scenes from across the country.
